Welcome to Samalanah

I’m Sam — the founder and heart behind Samalanah.

My candle-making journey began during the 2020 lockdown, right in my mum’s kitchen (thank you, Mum!). As a devoted home fragrance lover, I set out to create something truly unique: beautiful, clean-burning, eco-friendly candles that look as stunning as they smell. After months of testing, researching, and plenty of trial and error, Samalanah was born.

Driven by a passion for sustainability and luxury, I craft each candle using only the finest, sustainably sourced ingredients, free from plastics, toxins, and harsh additives.

Since launching, I’ve been proud to have sold thousands of candles, featured in John Lewis and have opened my very own candle shop in the town where I grew up. I’m also honoured to collaborate with wonderful independent businesses who share our ethos.
